In season, corn is picked first thing every morning – “Corn so fresh the ears still wiggle” is a phrase coined by E. Cecchi Farms’ founder, Erminio Cecchi
We have been selling our own produce to our local community since 1946, right here at 1131 Springfield Street in the Feeding Hills section of Agawam. We began under the trees out front until the stand was added in 1953. The original stand is still used today with some packing and display space added over the years.
The stand is seasonal , opening in spring with Easter flowers and other bedding plants. People can’t wait for our own vegetables. We offer our own produce as it becomes available, starting in May with asparagus, lettuce, and greenhouse tomatoes and continuing through the summer with strawberries, sweet corn, melons, and a whole lot more. We also carry a great selection of locally-grown blueberries, apples, peaches, and other stone fruits in season. We close the third week of October.
